  1. The software for Internet Authentication Service, Commercial Edition (IAS/C), is not compatible with Microsoft Windows 2000. You should uninstall this software before upgrading to Windows 2000.

If you continue to upgrade without uninstalling this software, IAS/C will not function under Windows 2000. Windows 2000 Internet Authentication Service is an upgrade to the Windows NT 4.0 Internet Authentication Service. However, the Commercial Edition of Windows NT 4.0 Internet Authentication Service is not upgraded.
